Encyclia bractescens x sib

Encyclia bractescens is a species orchid that is native to the humid forests of Mexico, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala.  This small size growing plant is an epiphytic orchid that can grow in hot to cool temperatures and will typically bloom during the late winter and spring months producing simple or branching inflorescence with up to 12 long lasting flowers The flowers are usually fragrant and will average 1" in size doing well in bright light. These orchid plants prefer drying periods between waterings and may need them lengthened a bit in the winter.
