These plants are clones, which means the bloom will look like sample photo.

Most Cattleyas will give off a bud with 2 blooms.  Sometimes they do only form a single bud.  In these instances, we are offering the option to purchase them at a reduced price because of the single flower.  There is no difference in the overall health and quality of the plant.

Note:  This variety is one that goes through a color maturity.  Upon it's initial opening it's blooms will be a lime green color.  As the bloom matures, the color with transform into a bright yellow color.  See the sample photo for details.

I was over excited to order my first cattleya. Akatsuka did not disappoint. I got a real beauty w/ 4 buds. The first bud that opened is now brght yellow in color while the ones just starting to open are lime green. Amazing! Smells like lemon lime too! Akatsuka is A+++.

I had called and talked to Kamaile, and she picked out my specific orchids I wanted; I got the best, most PERFECT specimen! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! This one took my breath away; 5 buds, huge plant in perfect condition, it bloomed and went through it's 'color change', JUST PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL!

    Great Plants

These are the most attractive, healthiest orchids I have received from any nursery, but plants from Akatsuka are always excellent. I am very pleased. Plus, the orchids bloomed beautifully within three days of receiving them.
