These plants are clones, which means the bloom will look like sample photo.

Note:  This variety is one that goes through a color maturity.  Upon it's initial opening it's blooms will be a light yellow color.  As the bloom matures, the color with transform into a deep orange with flares.  See the sample photo for details.

Most Cattleyas will give off a bud with 2 blooms.  Sometimes they only form a single bud.  In these instances, we will offer the option to purchase them at a reduced price because of the single flower.  There is no difference in the overall health and quality of the plant.

General orchid care for Cattleyas include a temperature range of 75-85F during the day and 60F at night. 40-60% humidity is recommended. Bright, shaded light south-east or south-west exposure. Check the media and water only when dry (about 1-2 times/week). We recommend fertilizing with a high phosphorus & potassium slow release blend to develop big blooms. As with all orchids, good air movement is essential. Repot these mature size orchids every 2 years.
