A species plant in the genus Ascocentrum. Naturally found growing in the forests of Asia at elevations of 1000-3000 ft. Plants prefer moderate light, somewhat filtered or diffused in intermediate to warm temperatures with high humidity. Best grown in well-drained media that will allow for adequate air circulation around the roots. Water heavily when plants are actively growing (spring through early autumn,) reducing after new growths mature.
