Light: Medium Light, 2000-3000ft candles (65-70% Shade) and more with sufficient humidity and air movement.
Water: Heavily and only when potting medium has become "dry." Not allowing plant to sit in water. *Plants will recover more rapidly from under-watering and is best to err on the dry side. When in doubt, don't water.
Humidity: 40-70%
Fertilizer: Balanced formula at 1/2-1/4 strength during active growth and bright weather. Overfeeding can lead to production of vegetative growth instead of flowers, blind sheaths and at the extremes, loss of roots, and death.
Potting: Airy bark mixture for adequate drainage and airflow in a pot that allows for two years of growth. Transplant ONLY when plant is not producing buds/blooms and when new roots are being formed.
