This Catasetanae primary orchid hybrid Cycnodes Taiwan Gold 'Orange' is a unique specialty variety. This type of orchid produces captivating 3" large, thick, peach-orange flowers of a beautiful form with a deep red lip. As these gorgeous orchid flowers are enjoyed into maturity, a wonderful fragrance will begin to emerge adding to the already breathtaking indulgence.
This family of orchids will go through a period of dormancy after it blooms. Leaves will yellow and drop after blooming during dormancy period! This is completely normal. The pseudobulb may be completely bald. Cut back on watering to once every 2 weeks. In the spring, new growth will emerge, resume regular watering to keep media moist but not soggy.
