As advised in the literature accompanying my orchids, I carefully removed the meticulously applied packing material surrounding the surprisingly tall package. My eyes widened with glee as I saw a 2.5 ft. spike loaded with plump buds! The gorgeous large star-shaped flowers are opening in succession along the spike, promising an extended display.
