Gram. scriptum v. multiflora x sib (5.5" Pot) - Not Blooming

Grammatophyllum scriptum var. Multiflora x sib is a stunning variety of this large growing species.

Orchid Features:

• Plant Stage: Mature Plant NOT currently with buds/blooms, may have new growth
• Origin: Seedling, sibling cross - flowers may not look exactly as pictured 
• Pot Size: 5.5"
• Average Plant Height: 15-18" 
• Bloom Size: 3" with a potential to grow to produce spikes at a towering 2-3' in height each with 50+ flowers
• Bloom Color: Varies; Any combination of yellow, greens, and brown.
• Fragrance: No
• Blooming Season: Varies, usual Summer-Fall flowering
• Blooming Period: Long-lived, 1-2 months per spike, sometimes over the course of 5 months!

Grammatophyllums like bright light and lots of water in the growing season. This plant can get very large and will become a beautiful specimen plant with multiple long spikes of green blooms.  See sample photo for plant potential. This variety blooms once a year in the summer-fall months.   Flowers should produce at the next blooming cycle.
