Peristeria elata x sib (6.5" pot) - Not flowering

Peristeria elata also known as the "Dove Orchid" is a summer bloomer.  These plants are of mature size and at the stage to produce flowers at the next blooming season.

• Long Lasting Fragrant White Flowers -2.5 cm wide
• Average Plant Height:  15-18"
• Spikes can grow to 4-6' tall

Easy to grow and flower! A native to Panama, this species prefers intermediate-warm temperatures and moderate filtered light with 40-70% humidity. Ideally during the winter, the potting medium should be allowed to approach drying between watering during the winter. This plant will lose leaves on older growths when the plant is in dormancy.
