Prosthechea trulla (4" Pot)
Prosthechea trulla is an easy growing epiphyte (occasional lithophyte) found in Mexico at elevations above 950 ft. to about 5000 ft. This small to medium sized orchid species can grow in hot to cool temperatures. Its growth pattern is of loosely clustered pseudobulbs with 2 narrow leaves that bloom at various times of the year producing inflorescence that cary 4 to 10 flowers averaging 1" in size. Very similar to Prosthechea radiata but with pointy petals.
