Rhyncostylis gigantea 'Orange' x sib - Not Blooming

This vandaceous species Rhynchostylis gigantea x sib (Orange) continues to grow increasingly popular among collectors as its unusual color forms are introduced and made available to the orchid growing community. This particular species is an eager bloomer that produces relatively shorter inflorescence with numerous vibrant, red flowers that emit a wonderfully warm fragrance. With origins in Southeast Asia through the Philippines, this orchid thrives in warm weather and can tolerate a wider range of light conditions than other Vandaceous orchids, allowing this species to be more accessible to hobby growers and orchid enthusiasts.
