This magenta cattleya orchid hybrid, Rlc. Cathi Yamanaka 'Volcano Queen', is now available as a young plant. An exemplary cross of Rth. Hisako Yamaki x Rlc. Kaoru Suzuki. This beautiful original Rhyncattleanthe variety was created by our founder, Mr. Moriyasu Akatsuka and originates from our orchid nursery here in Volcano, Hawaii. This orchid produces elegant flowers of a delicate and perfect form in a vibrant amaranth purple color with a soft splash of yellow on the lip.
