This young Cattleya is an original hybrid cloned by our founder, Mr. Moriyasu Akatsuka. First bloom is about 1-2 years away and most blooms will increase in size as the plant grows.
A special variety as this one was the first we asked our orchid community to help us to name. Karen L. submitted the winning name and this batch which was from an original cross of Rlc. Volcano Island x Rlc. Taeko Tamaki was registered in 2018. Now in the young starter stage - first release.
