Volcano NIght
I have two other "volcano queen" cattleyas from Akatsuka but they are young plants, doing well. I wanted a mature plant with flowers. I ordered this but was going to be out of town. It was sent as requested and arrived in perfect condition with 2 buds. The flowers opened in a couple of days. I've enjoyed the changing color. And today I finally noticed the scent--heavenly sweet. I love it. Will continue to order from Akatsuka as they send to northern Wisconsin, even getting plants in great condition during winter.
