Rlc. Kristy Manmoto 'Volcano Queen' is a compact, original cattleya from our breeding collection. Enjoy this ready-to-bloom cattleya producing bright yellow orchid flowers with a red flare at the edges of its petals and a bright red lip with an orange throat. These orchid plants are mericlones from 2017 from the parental cross of the classic favorite Rlc. Volcano Delight and Rlc. Yuko Ito. This stunning cattleya will enhance any orchid collection with its stunning blooms

General orchid care for Cattleyas include a temperature range of 75-85F during the day and 60F at night. 40-60% humidity is recommended. Bright, shaded light south-east or south-west exposure. Check the media and water only when dry (about 1-2 times/week). We recommend fertilizing with a high phosphorus & potassium slow release blend during growing season to develop big blooms. As with all orchids, good air movement is essential. Repot these mature size orchids every 2 years.
