Rlc. Mitsuo Akatsuka 'Volcano Queen' in 5.5" pot arrived in my home very professionally packed and in great condition. The plant is good size and looks very healthy. It is not blooming. I look forward to the blooms.

This large, cattleya orchid, Rlc. Mitsuo Akatsuka 'Volcano Queen' is a newly re-released Akatsuka original hybrid cross that produces fragrant and sizeable blooms in a beautiful blending of various shades of pink and violet during blooming season. This orchid is now currently available as a mature plant potted in a big 5.5" pot, awaiting blooming season and eager to display vibrant flowers, as shown in the product photo. Cattleyas are often annual bloomers. This variety does not have a specific blooming season so it is always possible for it to bloom at varying times every year. This plant is currently in bud or flowering now.
This bright hybrid are mericlones from our original collection and are perfect to add to any growing orchid collection.
