These Cattleya orchid plants are clones, which means the bloom will look like sample photo.  Created by Mori in the late 90's this spring bloomer continues to be a part of our collection for it's consistency in blooms & robust growth.

  • Plant Stage:  Mature With Buds/Blooms 
  • Large plant, robust growth 
  • Blooms life expectancy:  Up to 3 weeks
  • Average Plant Height:  20-24"
  • Blooming Season:  Spring
  • Fragrance:  YES
  • Mature Plant in a 5.5" pot

General orchid care for Cattleyas include a temperature range of 75-85F during the day and 60F at night. 40-60% humidity is recommended. Bright, shaded light south-east or south-west exposure. Check the media and water only when dry (about 1-2 times/week). We recommend fertilizing with a high phosphorus & potassium slow release blend to develop big blooms. As with all orchids, good air movement is essential. Repot these mature size orchids every 2 years.

    Bought three cattleyas from Akatsuka last year which grew like crazy so I decided to get three more this year that bloom during spring. They arrived in two days, wrapped neatly and I didn't find any issues with the buds or plants. After only a couple of days, this one opened and I was surprised to see that it has a white background which really adds to the beauty. I'm hoping to experience the fragrance soon since that's what cattleyas are known for. • C. mossiae (35%) + C. trianae (25%) + C. gaskelliana (13%) + C. dowiana (7%) • Fragrant White/Lavender Blooms with Purple/Yellow Lip • Bloom Season: Spring
