Rth. Hsinying Catherine 'Hakucho' (5.5" Pot) - Not Blooming
This white cattleya orchid, Rth. Hsinying Catherine 'Hakucho' is a newly released Akatsuka original Rhyncattleanthe hybrid. Sometimes identified as a Brassolaeliocattleya, this orchid will produce a slightly smaller flower (about 3") on a long stem that will grow to eventually bear numerous blooms for a beautiful showcase. Not only are its blooming characteristics unique from the cattleyas we typically produce, each blossom of this variety will undergo a stunning color-evolving transition from a soft yellow, almost lime green, into a clean white with a little yellow at the center where each petal meets. To top it off, a vibrant fuchsia-tipped yellow lip creates a captivating display during its varying blooming seasons. This orchid is now currently available as a mature plant potted in a big 5.5" pot, awaiting the next opportunity to eagerly display its beautiful flowers, as shown in the product photo. Cattleyas are often annual bloomers. This variety usually blooms some time between the winter and spring months. This plant is not currently in bud or flowering now.
These bright hybrids are mericlones from our original collection which means the bloom will look like sample photo. Perfect to add to any growing orchid collection!
