Order Processing and Shipping Info.

Where do you ship?

We ship our orchids to any physical address throughout the United States via FedEx (2-3 Day). FedEx does NOT ship to PO Box addresses and therefore any incomplete or incorrect shipping information may delay your order shipment. 

  • Note: Shipments delivered WILL be left near the front door if someone is not home to receive the box. If you wish for the box to be received by a person, we recommend that you ship your order to a business.
  • Shipments to Alaska may take an additional day to arrive.

When will my order ship?

Orders be processed within 1-2 business days however, we only ship on the days noted below.

Orders containing live plants will either ship Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday morning via FedEx service to avoid delays over the weekend and to ensure quality arrival.  Once your package is picked up, you'll automatically receive tracking information for transit updates. Once in transit, packages take 2-3 business days to arrive.

We do not have control over carrier service disruptions or delays once shipped but rest assured we guarantee our plant quality upon arrival & will work with you if there is a quality issue.  Please note that on major holidays when FedEx is closed like Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas, your package may be held for later shipping if the holiday interferes with delivery.  

Shipping supplies that are part of the same order may ship separately through USPS. Non-botanical items could arrive in multiple packages on slightly different timelines. You'll receive order tracking information for each package once shipped.

  • **Note:  Weather during winter months may delay your shipment. In the event we see unfavorable weather conditions in your area, we may hold your plant shipment until further notice or until more favorable conditions. If you are concerned about the forecast, please feel free to reach out to us and we will gladly delay your shipment although, we cannot guarantee any budded plants will remain in bud/bloom.
  • As a courtesy, when available, we do ship some boxes via Priority overnight. There is no additional charge to you. However, this does not guarantee that your order will arrive in 1 day (unless it's Hawaii delivery). In most areas, a Priority overnight just means it will arrive earlier on the expected arrival date.

What if I need to make changes to my order?

If you need to make a change to your order please contact us as soon as possible. We process orders as quickly as possible but will do our best to accommodate your request.

When can I expect my package to arrive?

-Continental US Orders should be delivered within 2-3 days after shipping.

-Alaska Orders may take up to 3 days for delivery.  There is an additional $30/box surcharge.

-Hawaii Orders will be delivered within 1 day after ship date

If I order multiple plants will they ship together?

Most plants available online are ready to ship. Unless otherwise noted as a "Pre-Order", all plants will ship be packed and shipped in one package.

Can I do an Store Pick Up instead of Shipping?

We do not offer same day delivery but if you are in the area or expect to travel through Volcano, Hawaii—store pick ups are available Sunday - Thursday from 9am -3:30pm. Please call us directly for details or choose the In-Store Pick Up option when placing your order online. To visit us when we are open to the public, please reference our home page for current store hours.

Are plants shipped during the winter?

We know how happy blooming orchids make us feel especially when the weather is not as cheery. We insulate our packages when the temperatures drop to ensure your orchids remain cozy during travel. If in the rare occasion your plant experiences cold damage, we'll gladly send you another! Just contact us and include a few photos.

  • Note: In the event unfavorable weather conditions in your area are a concern, we may hold your plant shipment until more favorable conditions arise. If you are concerned about the forecast, please feel free to reach out to us and we will gladly take care of your plants until you feel more comfortable; we cannot guarantee any budded plants in your order may still be available in bud/bloom.

What if my plants arrive damaged?

We make great efforts in our packing process so that your plants/products arrive in excellent condition. In the event any plant in your order does not arrive or arrives damaged please let us know within 3 days of delivery so we can make things right. Photos are required to help us improve our packaging process and as proof of damage.

Regional Shipping Information

CALIFORNIA: Plant shipments sent to the state of California are subjected to random spot inspections by their Agricultural Department. Shipping supplies are sent separately due to the state's agricultural regulations. If your box is selected at random for inspection, it may cause a delay in delivery. 

ALASKA: Alaska orders will incur an additional $30/order rural charge & may take an additional day to arrive. Some deliveries need to be made by seaplane which could delay arrival times.
