Stanhopea orchids are interesting in that they have fragrant blooms that grown downwards.  This makes it best to grow them in hanging baskets to feature the flowers when it blooms.  It's an intermediate temperature grower and likes indirect bright light. Repot if necessary after the plant has bloomed in the summer.
