Vandopsis parishii (Plant Only - 3" Clay Pot)
Vandopsis parishii aka The Moist Lip Phalaenopsis, a species sometimes referred to as Vanda parishii, Phalaenopsis marriottiana var. parishii, Hygrochilus parishii, and Stauropsis parishii, is a rare gem of an orchid.
This species Vandopsis orchid was originially found growing in India through Southern China and Vietnam in evergreen and semi-deciduous forest on limestone cliffs or forests at elevations ranging from 350 ft to nearly 5000 ft. A relatively large, epiphytic orchid growing in hot to cool growing temperatures. During the late winter through to spring, wonderfully fragrant, heavily textured, long lasting flowers of a golden yellow with rust-colored spotting will begin to form on an inflorescence that tends to span longer than the leaves.
These particular plants are a sibling cross.
