Paphs have always been my achilles heel in orchids. But I decided to try once more since I love Lady Slippers. Got my Green and Maroon Maudiae in perfect condition in April 2025. Have them in the house, with a humidity tray and will put them in an empty fish tank once the bloom is gone. Right now, 2 months later, blooms still in perfect condition. Akatsuka Orchids is my go to place for all my orchids!

I live in California zone 9b where it's hot and dry -- not orchid weather even in our bathroom. We shipped this orchid while we were still in Hawaii, and it arrived safe and sound. While it is about to flower, I'll still enjoy the gorgeous patterned leaves if it does not flower again given our weather conditions. Or, I put it in a terrarium. Beautiful though!
