Easy to grow and flower! A native to Panama, this species prefers intermediate-warm temperatures and moderate filtered light with 40-70% humidity. Ideally during the winter, the potting medium should be allowed to approach drying between watering during the winter. This plant will lose leaves on older growths when the plant is in dormancy.

Beautiful plant
My Peristeria Elata came nicely packed, weather was in the high 20's and my orchids arrived like they were still in sunny Hawaii. Plant is very healthy, can't wait for it to fully mature and bloom.
