This particular clone, Rlc. Volcano Showy 'Volcano Queen' is a newly released Akatsuka original hybrid cross from our 2023 Summer Starters Collection. This orchid is currently in the young starter stage and will grow to produce vibrant yellow blooms as shown in the product photo. Cattleyas are often annual bloomers. This variety does not have a specific blooming season so it is always possible for it to bloom at varying times each year. This plant is NOT currently in bud or flowering now.
This bright hybrid are mericlones from our original collection and are perfect to add to any growing orchid collection.
Many of the types in this category were created as originals by our founder, Mr. Moriyasu Akatsuka. First bloom is about 1-2 years away and most blooms will increase in size as the plant grows.
