Stanhopea Daenerys (registered in 1/2024) a primary hybrid from the cross of Stan. reichenbachiana 'Eve' x tigrina 'Glory of Mexico' is a cross between two variations of Stanhopea species. These particular plants are seedlings and each plant will have genetic variations that may be noticeable in structure, growth, and flowering.

Stanhopea orchids are interesting in that they have fragrant blooms that grown downwards. This makes it best to grow them in hanging baskets to feature the flowers when it blooms. It's an intermediate temperature grower and likes indirect bright light to full shade. Repot if necessary after the plant has bloomed in the summer.
